AstroSplat! is a single player game in which you command a small fleet of remote drone ships. Your goal is to blow up as many of the on coming asteroids as possible. At first, there's only a few stray asteroids approaching your planet, but as time goes on you'll find that the entire asteroid belt is off course. Good luck!

To play the game, the Java 2 plugin must be installed on your machine.Once the plugin is installed, you will not need to repeat this procedure to run Java 2 based applications within your browser.
The plugin runs in place of the Java Virtual Machine inside your web
browser (Netscape or IE). When a java applet needs to run and the browser's
"JVM" does not have the functionality to support it yet, the plugin will
run the applet. Warning though, downloading the plugin is a very time consuming
process if you have a slow connection. For questions regarding the java2
plugin, go to: http://www.javasoft.com/
1) Can I have the source code for AstroSplat! ?
At this time the code is not available.2) How was it created?
Graphics and framework (sprite engine) were from John Eriksson's gamelib.3) Are there powerups? New features/versions? Bug fixes?
Nothing planned. I'll consider it.4) Can you help with my performance problems?
I know there's a problem with performance. If you turn sound off, the game plays better/smoother on some systems.5) Can I use AstroSplat! on my page?
Errr - why wouldn't you just run it from my page?6) Why the big pause when I die?
Because there is a terrible lag in the cgi high score server on tripod. Sorry. For other questions, send mail to dxmonger@yahoo.com. Include information such as your browser, version, plug-in information, errors reported, etc.
